Just got back from Sasquatch, and my newest discovery was a band called Pela - hadn’t heard of them before (what rock was I under!?) but they were phenomenal and in my opinion, could have easily headlined the main stage (they were on one of the smaller stages but it was PACKED.) I downloaded the album today on eMusic (well - part of it - I didn’t have enough credits so ended up purchasing the rest of the songs via Amazon) and it’s been on continual repeat. The title song of their album Anytown Grafitti is my current obsession, but I know many more will follow. I think they’ll definitely be in the running for my “Fave Album of 2008”.
