In honor of the announcement yesterday that the lead singer of one of our favorite bands, Scott Hutchinson of Frightened Rabbit, will be playing a solo tour supporting Josh Ritter throughout the U.S. this winter (including a stop at Washington DC’s 9:30 Club on Valentine’s Day!), here is my favorite Josh Ritter song. This song swells and builds so beautifully, you can’t help but be filled with a sense of hope— perfect song for starting off a new year.
