I’m a broken record, I know it. 2010 has been all about two bands: The National and Frightened Rabbit. And I’m completely, 100%, totally alright with that. (Hey, when you know what you like, you know what you like.) So it should come as no surprise that I set my alarm to listen to Sirius XMU’s in-studio session with The National last month. And ooh boy, it didn’t disappoint. Probably the best live recording I have heard from them. So I promptly proceeded to spend a LOT of time trying to track down those four tracks, to no avail.
Until today. It coincided with the early acquisition of the expanded edition of “High Violet” but I’ll leave that for next week. In the meantime, enjoy the best of the four tracks from the National’s Sirius XMU session, a breathtakingly brilliant version of ‘Terrible Love’.
And because I love y’all, you can download all four tracks here.
ENJOY…I am.
