Found myself playing ‘Unlabeled Mix CD Roulette’ in my car this weekend, and rediscovered my obsession with Pete Yorn. (Move over, Ryan Adams, my original crush has returned.) I could listen to “Lose You” on repeat for days on end…and I just may.

Found myself up all night wondering where it was, and alas, found it on an old Ext. HD. Ryan Adams & the Cardinals “Fix it” live on Letterman.

This song has been in nearly-constant rotation for the past month. It’s powerful and cathartic and puts things into perspective.

One of my favorite songs from the B-Sides of Damien Rice, ‘Lonelily’ is a song that sounds like it would fit in a melancholy playlist, but alas, I love it for its authenticity and find it actually puts me in a good mood.
